Join the BDA South Yorkshire Branch and the Sheffield LDC for an event which explores what professional organisations do to support your dental career.
Speakers from the BDA, LDC, Dental Protection, Dentists Provident, BHP Chartered Accountants and Chase de Vere will highlight all the work they do both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.
Many colleagues don’t realise how much the BDA advocates for our profession, or how vital it is that we support their lobbying work as they support us. Dental Protection isn’t just for complaints -they offer early advice and guidance to help prevent issues and support us through stressful situations. BHP can help with tax planning and accounting long before a bill becomes a problem. Dentists Provident provides essential income protection when illness stops us working, yet fewer dentists now have this cover - even new graduates need to consider it. Chase de Vere supports every aspect of our finances, not just investments or retirement planning.
Of course, each organisation does far more than this. Crucially, many of you are there to support dentists before they realise they need help. For younger dentists, who can often feel isolated, this event offers a valuable opportunity to meet you in person and ask questions face‑to‑face.
