ONLINE WEBINAR

What to expect

This webinar, delivered by Beena Harkison, will provide an evidence-based understanding of the Invisalign System. It will outline how force-based aligner therapy works, focusing on Invisalign’s Smart technologies and their role in delivering predictable tooth movement.

Beena will also explore key biomechanical principles, before critically reviewing the clinical evidence supporting clear aligner treatment, with specific reference to Invisalign.

Learning objectives

  • Understand why a force-based clear aligner is an effective orthodontic appliance and how the three Smart technologies unique to the Invisalign System create a force-based system
  • Understand the biomechanics of the Invisalign System using low continuous force with optimised attachments and aligner activations
  • Critically appraise the evidence for clear aligner orthodontics and highlight research specific to the Invisalign System.
