What to expect
This session will explore how orthodontic aligner planning integrates with restorative end goals to achieve predictable outcomes, while creating opportunities to deliver more comprehensive treatment within the practice. It will provide a structured approach to aesthetic assessment and smile design for both direct and indirect restorations, while demonstrating how restorative objectives influence aligner setup, sequencing and finishing.
Participants will learn to use digital workflows, including iTero and exocad, to enhance interdisciplinary planning, communication and practice efficiency. Through interactive case discussions, they will apply functional and aesthetic principles, build confidence in transitioning patients from orthodontic alignment to successful restorative delivery, and explore how an integrated ortho-restorative approach can support practice growth.
