What to expect
This lecture is intended to educate individuals about impact of sugars on health, explore healthy and unhealthy sugar options, and provide strategies for reducing sugar intake.
The lecture will focus on:
- Exploring how genetic predispositions to a sweet tooth might relate to overall health
- Recognising the differences between different types of sugars and sugar substitutes
- Understanding how high sugar intake can affect health and wellbeing.
The Branch AGM will take place before the lecture. All BDA members very welcome to attend.
