British Dental Conference and Exhibition
The BDA Museum exhibits at the
British Dental Conference and Exhibition each year. Our stand displays some of the objects from the collection, as well as running activities and providing information.
CPD half day visits to the museum
If you are looking for a day out for your team and the opportunity to earn some continuing professional development, why not come to a specially-designed session at the museum?
Dedicated practice visits to the museum last two hours and include a tour of the museum, a fun quiz, a showing of one of the earliest oral-health films in the world and the opportunity to handle some original artefacts plus refreshments.
Visits are free to practices who have a BDA member of staff.
The visit can count towards two hours of verifiable CPD.
CPD certificates are presented to all those registered with the GDC.

Have you been asked to give a talk to a school or a local group? Are you holding a practice open evening? Would you like an interactive element for your presentation?
Why not borrow a box of historic objects from the BDA Museum?
The box contains nearly two dozen original objects along with information and a presentation CD-Rom giving a short history of dental care.
Boxes are loaned and posted out free to BDA members.
