With a 12.4% increase in GDC Annual Retention Fees (ARF) now confirmed for dentists for 2026, we are clear that with this workforce under unprecedented financial pressure our regulator must demonstrate the value of every additional pound raised.
Levels for dentists rise will from £621 to £698, and from £96 to £108 for dental care professionals.
“Increases come when at a time when every dentist is under pressure from the mounting cost of care” says chair Eddie Crouch.
“Our regulator needs to justify how it uses every penny from a bill registrants have no choice but pay.”
