Dentists and their teams have a crucial role to play in ensuring oral cancers are detected early and it is our goal to provide you with the resources and support you need. Our oral cancer toolkit, developed in partnership with Cancer Research UK, helps dental health professionals identify and refer possible cases of oral cancer.
This toolkit includes a referral decision guide which illustrates the red flags which should prompt referral to secondary care via a suspected cancer pathway, a three-minute video demonstrating how to perform an examination, and a quiz to help boost your knowledge of oral cancer and contribute to your CPD.
