Responding to our calls for greater clarity, the Minister has confirmed that the ‘30%’ enhancement to fees for fillings, extractions and root canal treatments will be uplifted by 4.85% in line with the uplift applied in April.
The Minister has also stated it is his intention that the £1.6m additional support will be distributed to individual practitioners in proportion to the level of Health Service work completed. National Insurance mitigations for increased employers’ National Insurance contributions also will be paid to practices.
