Following reports from members, we had previously raised this problem with the Scottish Government and urged them to develop a public messaging campaign.
- Social media assets for your practice
- Posters discouraging unacceptable patient behaviour, which can be printed and displayed in your practice
- Posters for staff-only areas, which encourage staff to report abusive behaviour.
We welcome the Scottish Government listening to members' concerns and producing a practical kit which dental practices, dental hospitals and the Public Dental Service can use to help combat this problem.
