Be a part of World Oral Health Day 2019
15 February 2019
We are encouraging dental students and young dentists to take part in this year's activities for World Oral Health Day (20 March), by giving an oral health promotion talk to local nurseries, primary schools or children's centres.
Organised by the FDI World Dental Federation, World Oral Health Day focuses on prevention and providing good oral health information to people, to help protect their smiles.
You can plan to visit an oral health promotional visit to a childcare setting at any time, but if you are organising a visit in the run up to, or just after the 20 March, this means we can promote your work alongside the World Oral Health Day campaign.
We have some resources to support you:
Let us know what you are doing
We are looking for case studies of oral health promotion activities like this that you have done, or might plan to do for your local community.
We'd like to feature your case studies and pictures on our website and social media channels, helping to raise the profile of dentistry and good oral health – please get in touch and we can help promote your work.
