National Dental Student Awards: apply or nominate now

4 January 2018

The National Dental Student Awards are now open and aspiring dental professionals across the UK are encouraged to apply.

Hosted by Tooth Wise, a tech-media organisation created by dental students, the Awards are designed to recognise the contributions of those just starting out in their dental careers.

By entering the awards, students have an opportunity to benchmark themselves alongside their peers and gain recognition for their achievements, on a national level.

Applications will be judged by a panel of key leaders in dentistry and the finalists will be invited to attend a black-tie Ceremony in October.

You can apply directly, or you can nominate someone you think deserves to be recognised.

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 4 March 2018.

BDA Students Committee Chair, Paul Blaylock said:

"We're delighted to support this Award, which recognises those just starting out in the profession. We are always keen to hear from our student members about their achievements, especially those that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to their studies and/or other activities, that will help them to develop as dental professionals."

Nikunj Sondagar, Director of Tooth Wise said:

"It's great to see how dental students often go beyond what is required of them and these Awards are designed to showcase the talent out there. The whole Tooth Wise team are honoured to have support from great people and organisations in dentistry, including the BDA."
