No Child Left Behind

Tooth decay is the number one reason for hospital admissions among young children, and bad diets are fuelling it. Free school meals are a simple step that would put prevention to work in every school in this country - we are supporting the NEU's No Child Left Behind campaign.

What we are doing

We secured national media coverage of survey data from our members and used it to highlight messages that tooth decay remains the number one reason for hospital admissions among young children. We know that that free school meals for all would be prevention in action. We continue to follow-up the issue with Coventry MP Zara Sultana (pictured), who is leading the campaign in Westminster and building relationships with other partners.
