Southern Counties
The Southern Counties Branch covers the south and south east of England, it is the largest Branch geographically.
The Southern Counties Branch supports the local community of dentists by holding regular educational and social events. Members, non-member dentists and DCPs from all areas are welcome to meetings in any area.
Members and non-members are contacted by email regarding meetings if opted in to receive emails about the BDA's national and local events. If you are not receiving meeting details, please contact the Local Services Team. You are also welcome to join the Southern Counties Branch Facebook group.

Available roles
The Southern Counties Branch are currently looking to fill the following roles, if you are interested in a role or restarting an inactive Section contact us.
Branch roles
The Southern Counties Branch need a few volunteers to assist with various vacancies within the Branch and some its local Sections. They particularly need someone to take on the role of Branch Secretary. The task is much less arduous than you might think, with the Branch Executive Committee (a small group of seven people) meeting just four evenings a year. The Branch also usually organise one large Conference per year which the head office team also help with.
Bognor and Chichester Section
Looking for BDA members to join the Section committee as general committee members. Contact the Local Services team if you are interested in getting involved.
Bromley and Beckenham Section
The Section are looking for a BDA members to join as general committee members. Contact the Local Services team if you are interested in getting involved.
Croydon Section
The Section are looking for a BDA member to take on the role of Secretary. Contact the Local Services team if you are interested in getting involved.
Kingston and District Section
The Section are looking for a BDA member to take on the role of Chair and as general committee members. Contact the Local Services team if you are interested in getting involved.
Inactive Sections
Our Brighton, Canterbury and East Kent, Eastbourne, Epsom and Sutton, Hastings and Bexhill, Mid Surrey, West Kent, and West Surrey Sections are currently inactive.
If you are interested in helping to restart activity and events in any of these areas, then we are looking for a Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and general committee members for each area. Extensive events support is provided from head office from the Local Services team.
