The event aims to simplify the management of periodontal disease
for the general practitioner by introducing the Healthy Gums Do matter Toolkit (HGDM) and the latest classification of periodontal disease.

Learning objectives
  • Brief introduction to HGDM toolkit and ideology
  • Where to start and how to implement new methods of recording and treatment in practice
  • An introduction into the new classification of periodontal disease
  • To aid practitioners in their understanding and treatment of periodontal disease using a recognised strategy (HGDM)
  • To introduce practitioners to the latest changes and how and why periodontal disease if classified
