James qualified in 1992 from King's College London. He has worked exclusively in the City since 1995 and took two years off to gain a Masters degree in Conservative dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute. He founded Bow Lane Dental Group, a multi-speciality dental practice with an onsite laboratory in 2001.
James is a past-president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a member of the British Dental Association. He is a judge for both the Dental Industry Awards and the Dentistry awards.
He lectures internationally and has delivered over 90 seminars on tooth whitening techniques, minimal invasive dentistry, dental marketing and growing your business whilst having a life.
His book Brush is a number one best seller on Amazon and all the profits go to Dentaid. The first project was in Malawi where James installed a two surgery dental practice and led a dental team to deliver a skills transfer workshop. His current project is tackling the problem of sugar being used as a reward for children.
Managing Director, Dental Design
Nigel founded Dental Design – the leading design and marketing agency for the dental profession – back in 2000. Its key focus is delivering dental marketing strategies with measurable ROI, through website design, SEO/PPC, social media, e-mail marketing and much more.
Following a successful career in sales and marketing management, which included Blue Chip organisations such as Marks & Spencer, Mars and BUPA, Nigel established Dental Design, a company which has enjoyed great success since its inception, and today helps many practices across the UK to develop and maintain a professional and assured marketing presence.
Nigel has a particular interest in digital marketing and a real passion for driving businesses forward through a blend of creative and marketing skills.
Owner, Practices Made Perfect
Nicki's career began in 1992 as a chartered, state registered physiotherapist with a special interest in head and neck pathology. She has lived and breathed practice management since opening Perfect 32 Dental Practice in East Yorkshire in 2005. For over 11 years, Nicki nurtured her team to achieve exemplary standards in both clinical and customer service based areas of work and as a result the practice won countless awards. These include The National Training Awards for Yorkshire and Humber in 2010, as well as being a national finalist in the SME category. In 2011, Perfect 32 won The Training Business of the Year Award at the local Chambers of Commerce Awards and Nicki herself was awarded Practice Manager of the Year by the UK's Association of Dental Administrators and Managers (ADAM) in 2012.
In 2014, Nicki set up her own business, Practices Made Perfect by Nicki Rowland. She is impassioned about sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with other practices to help them survive and grow in the present tough economic and political climates. She is currently working with leading companies in the dental world to deliver compliance and strategic business consultancy and Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and other training to dental professionals.

Daz qualified in 2005 from the University of Liverpool. In 2008, with his business partner, he co-founded, Ollie & Darsh, a private aesthetically focused GDP based dental clinic in the centre of Liverpool. His clinical focus and interests are around delivering ortho-restorative aesthetic solutions to his patients in a minimally invasive way.
He is a founding member of the European Society of Aesthetic Dentistry and is also a member of both the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has also lectured nationally as an instructor for both Invisalign GO and 6 Month Smiles.

Amy joined Bow Lane Dental as the Business Manager in February 2016 and brought with her over 14 years of Private Healthcare Management experience to the practice.
She has previously managed large multi-site GP clinics, multidisciplinary clinics, an Ophthalmology Clinic and an Orthopaedic Clinic and from each of these roles learnt a wealth of knowledge.
She has always loved being in the healthcare sector and being part of keeping patients healthy.
Colin Williams, Cert CII (MP)
