IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Ribble Section

What to expect

To provide dentists with guidance to accurately apply IOTN in clinical situations and to improve the accuracy of orthodontic referrals. The course will explain how the referrals are managed and allocated to providers. The course will aim to clearly explain which patients are suitable for primary and secondary care and how to ensure the patient has a smooth journey through the referral process.

We will look at how to reliably complete the referral form. Will go over clinical orthodontic assessment using IOTN, appropriate age for assessment and indications for radiography. The referral process to both primary and secondary care orthodontic providers will be explained. The types of cases that are treated in primary and secondary care will be explained.
