What to expect

Join Anant Bakshi, Consultant Trained Specialist Orthodontist, for an insightful lecture exploring the integration of orthodontics with restorative dentistry through clinical cases involving braces, gingival grafting, composite build-ups, and bridgework.

The lecture encourages discussion on optimal treatment sequencing, aesthetic and functional considerations and multidisciplinary coordination to achieve superior long-term outcomes in complex cases.

Meet the speaker

Anant Bakshi Consultant Trained Specialist Orthodontist

Dr Bakshi graduated with Honours in Dentistry from Cardiff University and completed his Master’s in Research (MRes) and Specialist Orthodontic training at Birmingham Dental Hospital, obtaining his MOrth from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was proxime accessit to the Gold Medal. He later completed Consultant Orthodontic Training at King’s College London, focusing on complex cases such as orthognathic surgery and hypodontia. Dr Bakshi has extensive hospital and community experience, managing cleft lip and palate and multidisciplinary cases. His interests include surgical and restorative orthodontics, complex functional rehabilitation, and managing patients with snoring and airway concerns.

Turn right out of the station, cross the bridge and continue along Kenton Road.
Take the third turning on the right into Upton Gardens.
At the end turn left onto Northwick Circle.

Directions from Northwick Park Station

Coming out of the station, go straight on towards Northwick Avenue and there turn right.
At the end of Northwick Avenue continue straight along the footpath across the railway bridge and then take the second left turning onto Greystone Gardens.
At the end turn slightly left onto Northwick Circle.
