Emma and Dan work closely together at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, where they have been instrumental in developing transition of care services for patients moving from paediatric to adult dental services. Lancashire Teaching Hospitals provides a comprehensive range of paediatric and special care dentistry services, with a particular focus on the delivery of conscious sedation and treatment under general anaesthesia. Together, they are committed to improving access to high-quality, patient-centred care for those with complex needs across all stages of their treatment journey.

Rhyanna is going into her third year of training as a Specialty Registrar in Paediatric Dentistry, working in both the Newcastle Dental Hospital and Northumbria Community Dental Service. She has worked within the specialty for 5 years, across a number of regions including Yorkshire and Humber and the North East.

Nadiya has worked in Bradford Community Dental Services since 2011, developing expertise in conscious sedation and completing the Diploma in Dental Conscious Sedation at Newcastle University in 2013. As Sedation Lead for over a decade, and more recently in her role as Clinical Director, she has expanded sedation services from adult dental anxiety management to paediatric and special care dentistry. Passionate about improving access to care for anxious patients and those with additional needs, she champions personalised sedation pathways and adjunctive techniques. A committed educator, she also leads a STAC-accredited inhalation sedation course and enjoys teaching conscious sedation regionally and nationally.

Oli is a Consultant Paediatric Dentist at Newcastle Dental Hospital and Teesside Community Dental Service. A core element of his clinical practice is the acute and longer-term management of dental trauma and its complications. He has recently helped establish the Paediatric Oral Medicine Clinic in Newcastle. Oli also co-chairs the NENC MCN for paediatric dentistry and is passionate about improving children's oral health and streamlining treatment pathways.
