Meet the speaker

Maria Hardman

When it comes to dental implants, few clinicians bring the depth of knowledge, hands-on experience, and international training that Maria Hardman offers. With a career spanning more than 40 years, Maria has become one of the most respected names in UK implant dentistry so much so that patients regularly travel from across the country to seek her care.

Maria graduated from Birmingham University in 1985 and has since held a variety of associate, locum, and principal roles running her own practice since 1990. Her passion for implant dentistry began in 1996, and since then, she has pursued an extraordinary educational path, attending advanced implant courses across Europe and North America. Her commitment to excellence culminated in earning a Master’s degree in Implantology from the prestigious Lille University Medical School in 2004.

Always driven to understand every detail of her craft, Maria also earned a Certificate and Diploma of Honour in Clinical Radiological Anatomy of the Head and Neck in 2006 further enhancing her diagnostic precision and surgical planning.

Maria has successfully completed several thousand single implants and over three hundred full-arch immediate loading cases and works extensively with leading implant systems including Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Astra, 3i, Ankylos, Osteocare, Biohorizons, Adin and Bredent, tailoring treatment to each patient’s needs. She remains dedicated to restoring smiles, confidence and quality of life.

Beyond her clinical practice, Maria has played a major role in shaping the next generation of implant dentists. She was the founder and former president of the Oxford Society of Oral Implantology, where she mentored postgraduate dentists in implantology and shared her insights at advanced levels. She has served as a clinical tutor on the Implant Masters Programme at the University of Central Lancashire, as well as an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick.

In 2006, Maria realised her vision of designing and creating her ‘perfect ‘practice,’ incorporating purpose built clinical and training facilities and designed to provide world-class care in a calm, welcoming environment. It was with these thoughts in mind that the blueprint for Clinic 95 was first conceived and the rules put in place for a truly state-of-the-art facility, which opened in 2010. Every detail of Clinic 95 reflects her commitment to innovation, safety, and patient comfort.

Maria is a proud member of the British Dental Association, the Association of Dental Implantology, the Joint Dental Faculties of the College of General Dentistry of England, and the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

For Maria, dental implants are about more than replacing teeth, they’re about restoring confidence, function, and quality of life. Her combination of skill, experience, and warmth makes her a trusted choice for patients seeking exceptional implant care.
