What to expect

Deepesh Patel will take a comprehensive look at toothwear history, and shows delegates how to recognise the clinical signs of erosion, attrition, abrasion and abfraction. He will also show how to plan restorative management of toothwear cases; appreciate the Dahl concept and identify when specialist referral is indicated.

Meet the speaker

Deepesh Patel

Deepesh qualified from King's College London in 2011. He completed a postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry and specialist training in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, finishing in 2020 with distinction, the UCL Alumni Prize, and recognition within the Dean's List. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He now provides restorative and implant treatments across private practices in the South of England, having previously treated head and neck oncology patients at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
