Joana Monteiro will provide an overview of the assessment and management of traumatic dental injuries in children, including diagnosis, emergency management, potential complications, and principles of long-term care and tooth replacement following trauma.
Nishma Sharma will highlight the work of the DDAG, why Equality, equity, diversity and inclusivity is important, why further awareness is needed and how a biased, prejudiced society will impact on us as a profession.
Damien Walmsley will show how items from the British Dental Museum reveal the history and development of dentistry. Through images and stories, the lecture will demonstrate how instruments, materials and everyday objects illustrate changes in dental practice and professional life over time.
