What to expect

Mahul Patel will discuss methods and sequence of occlusal diagnosis, review jaw registration techniques for diagnosis and treatment, and discuss the assessment and treatment approaches to treating tooth surface loss cases. There will be an opportunity to ask the speaker questions at the end.

Meet the speaker

Mahul Patel (1) Mahul Patel Senior Clinical Teacher, King’s College Dental Institute

Mahul graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ School of Medicine and Dentistry (King’s College London) in 2002. He obtained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009 and completed 2 Master’s degrees at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute; Restorative Dental Practice in 2010 and Conservative Dentistry in 2012. For the latter, was awarded Distinction and the 3M ESPE post-graduate class prize for excellence in clinical and academic achievement. Mahul obtained Membership in Prosthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014. His clinical and research interests include aesthetic and implant dentistry, endodontics, treatment of advanced tooth wear cases, crown preparation techniques and the clinical behaviour of restorative dental materials. He has presented and published at local, national and international level and has been Key Opinion Leader and Clinical Educator for various multinational companies and corporations.
