IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by Aberdeen, Highlands and Inverness Section

What to expect

The Aberdeen, Highlands and Inverness Section invites you to join Alice Duke, Specialty Registrar in Restorative Dentistry, for an informative lecture exploring advanced clinical techniques in removable prosthodontics.

Designed for general dental practitioners, this session focuses on improving confidence and predictability when managing complex cases. Key areas include accurate impression techniques, occlusal balance, and optimised prosthesis design, with particular attention to challenging scenarios such as severely resorbed ridges and distal extension dentures.

Using practical tips, real clinical case examples, and structured problem‑solving approaches, Alice bridges the gap between theory and everyday practice. Attendees will gain practical insights to enhance denture stability, function, patient comfort, and long‑term clinical success in routine general practice.
