What to expect

This lecture will explore the patient journey within multidisciplinary general practice. Delegates will learn a structured approach to examination, diagnosis and treatment planning, followed by interactive case discussions demonstrating how different treatment modalities can be combined to support oral rehabilitation and deliver effective, coordinated patient care.

Meet the speaker

GDP focused on Oral Rehabilitation through multidisciplinary approach. He graduated in 2007 in Oviedo (Spain), by the time he moved to Aberdeen in 2015, he had worked in a ‘multi-specialist’ like setting for over 5 years. During that period he also completed MSc in prosthodontics (2010), Diploma in Implantology, post degree education on TMD, Kinesiology as well as PhD (2014). Since he moved to Scotland, he has completed his education with orthodontic and orthopaedics, Perio cohort 2, multiple surgical, restorative and cosmetic courses. In 2022, he was part of the first Cohort of the ‘Emergent Leadership Program’ at the Foundation of Oral Rehabilitation. Since then he has had the honor to travel through USA and Europe delivering presentations and for the past 3 years he is a Global Key Expert for Nobel Biocare. He am strong believer on education for the dental team and he does enjoy sharing knowledge with my colleagues. He was also part of the of BDA Board of the Aberdeen and North of Scotland Sections as Treasurer.
