- Explain the GDC Standards regarding refusal of care
- Identify legal and ethical requirements for patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Recognise common risks associated with refusing treatment, specifically when the patient has had treatment abroad
- Consider how to deal with concerns and apply strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Demonstrate improved confidence in handling refusal of care scenarios, through real life case examples.
