Join us for an insightful lecture recognising peri-implant health, distinguishing peri-implant mucositis from peri-implantitis, and understanding treatment options and supportive care for the long-term management of peri-implant disease.

An illustrated lecture combining clinical videos and case discussions. Topics include peri-implant assessment and diagnosis, the distinction between mucositis and peri-implantitis, risk factors, non-surgical and surgical treatment, and long-term maintenance. Clinical cases will demonstrate treatment selection, outcomes and when to refer.

Meet the speaker

Boota is a GDC-registered Specialist in Periodontics and Clinical Director of BPI Dental, a specialist referral practice in Birmingham. He has over 30 years of experience in Periodontal and Implant care, with a particular interest in managing Peri-implant disease and complex implant complications. His clinical work includes Non-surgical and Surgical treatment of Peri-implantitis, Hard Lasers, Soft Tissue Surgery and Bone Augmentation. Through BPI Education, he teaches dentists in the UK and internationally, using clinical cases to connect the evidence with practical decision-making and long-term patient care.
