  • Demonstrate the clinical factors that influence treatment planning for endodontic orthograde and surgical outcomes
  • Illustrate clinical techniques and contemporary equipment to improve your endodontic workflow
  • Compare what clinical factors and when prosthetic tooth replacement would have a better prognosis than endodontic treatment
  • Illustrate contemporary dental implant planning and long term complications.

Meet the speaker

Gareth Calvert Consultant, Specialist and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry, Glasgow Dental Hospital and School

Over the last decade Gareth’s specialist practice has been devoted to the multidisciplinary oral rehabilitation of patients with hypodontia, encompassing all aspects of dental implant treatment, hard and soft tissue surgery and management of complications. He also has a subspecialty interest in endodontics, particularly endodontic microsurgery and surgical repair
of external cervical resorption. His clinical practice has received awards from numerous specialist societies.

Gareth enjoys delivering educational content in various formats across the UK and abroad, and particularly enjoys the interaction with colleagues during his cadaveric workshops.

Gareth has published widely on various clinically relevant topics and is most proud of his book on dental trauma.
