Ribble Section: Teamwork dynamics in microscope-assisted dentistry
IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Ribble Section
What to expect
This course is designed to master the principles of microscope-assisted cooperation. Hands-on training will refine four-handed techniques, optimise workflow and address the ergonomic challenges of operating under magnification. It will discuss the role of specific instruments, the impact of newly acquired skills, and approaches to enhancing efficiency, precision and confidence in daily practice.
This event comprises of an on-demand online session (1.5 hours CPD) and a one-day hands-on workshop (6 hours CPD).
Speakers Laura Andriukaitienė and Irma Jasaitienė and a team of moderators will see you through live demonstrations with practical exercises in a clinical environment using dental chairs, microscopes and patient models. Each team will perform structured tasks under instructor supervision to develop fluency in real-life scenarios. The program concludes with a group discussion reflecting on the role of specific instruments, the impact of newly acquired skills, and strategies to enhance efficiency, quality and confidence in microscope-assisted practice.
Online learning
The online learning uses Teams, and a link will be send to you approximately two weeks before the workshop and can be watched at whatever time it suits you. Please note this online session is mandatory - without this session the hands-on workshop will not be beneficial.
