IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Ribble Section
What to expect
This one-day event features lectures in the morning which will outline the relevant evidence base and clinical implications of rotary endodontic treatment with clinical tips on managing curved, calcified and ledged canals.
The practical and interactive workshop elements are then designed to develop the skills you need to carry out optimal endodontic treatment utilising the Protaper Ultimate rotary in curved, calcified and ledged canals.

Learning objectives
By the end of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the aetiology for calcifications and ledges
- Identify the severity of curvatures, calcification and ledges
- Describe techniques to overcome curved calcified and ledged canals
- Review a novel hand filing technique which involves reduction the number of hand files before using rotary files
- Hands on training using the ProTaper Ultimate system to overcome these challenges.

If you feel at all unwell, we encourage you to take a lateral flow test the evening before you are due to arrive - should your test result be positive, we ask you not to attend.
